Pastors

Mark and Teresa came to serve Grace in January of 2001 as the Worship Pastors. In July of 2003, God moved them to the Dallas/Fort Worth area where they served on church staffs, planted a church and they believe it was the “training ground” for where they are today.

On Monday, April 28, 2014, Mark and Teresa became the Senior Pastors of Grace Christian Center. Mark is a recognized community leader and speaker who serves on multiple boards and councils. He and Teresa are part of Churches in Covenant (CIC) Fellowship and the Gateway Church Network. Mark has a passion for the Church to be a greater influence within the community it is a part of and also to empower and train men and women who can lead at local, national and global levels.

Teresa’s heart is for women to embrace who God has designed them to be. Her passion is prayer and teaching the Word of God so that women can fulfill their purpose in the home and the workplace. Teresa’s compassion is seen in her love for the broken, the hurting and those who have lost hope.

Mark and Teresa have been married for 30 years and have two children, Kortni and Tyler.

Terry and Jan Whitley are the Founding Pastors of Grace Christian Center. The church was started with a small group of people meeting at Bellaire Elementary School on June 15, 1980.

Their vision was to be a family church, a training center and a church with a focus on world missions. Their passion was equipping people to live full and passionate lives for Christ. Children were a priority as they believed they were the church of today as well as the future.

Their love for each other, the Church and the world is still being realized as Grace is continuing to fulfill and expand the vision that was started in June of 1980.
