1 Corinthians 12:14-22 [NLT] “Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part. If the foot says, ‘I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,’ that does not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, ‘I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,’ would that make it any less a part of the body? If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where He wants it. How strange a body would be if it had only one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. The eye can never say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you.’ The head can’t say to the feet, ‘I don’t need you.’ In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.” Every person within the Body of Christ has been given gifts, talents, a calling and a purpose. If you don’t know what yours are, then it’s time to make the biggest discovery that will change your life forever.

Today, take time to pray for yourself concerning your gifts, your talents, your calling and your purpose. God’s Word declares that “He knew you before He formed you in your mother’s womb.” The gifts, talents, calling and purpose that you carry have been inside of you since conception. Ask the Lord to reveal to you what they are and where they will make the maximum impact within your home church, your community and the Body of Christ. There are specific tests that you can take to help reveal to you how the Lord fashioned you into the unique person that you are. Make today the first day of discovering who you really are.

“My Father in heaven, today, I pray that I will discover, I will know and I will walk in the fulfillment of my gifts, talents, calling and purpose in my life. I declare that I am ‘fearfully and wonderfully made.’ I declare that You have ‘plans for me, plans to prosper me, to give me a hope and a future.’ My gifts, talents, calling and purpose in life is to help lead others to Christ and to know the love of God that has changed my life. I know who I am in Christ. I am a child of God! I am a son/daughter of God! I am made in the image and likeness of God! I am a significant part of the Body of Christ. The way that God made me is to ‘fit’ like a missing piece of a puzzle, bringing clarity, strength and joy to the finished picture. Thank You, Lord, for making me who I am. Thank You for my gifts, talents, calling and purpose. I will fulfill Your plan and purpose in my life. I will help the Body of Christ to be strong in these last days. I am made just the way You want me to be, perfect and not missing anything. I pray all of this in the Name of Jesus, amen!”
