21 Days of Prayer – Day 17

Pastor Mark Price Blog

Philippians 1:3, 6 [NIV] “I thank my God every time I remember you…being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” The ministry of the Church is a never-ending endeavor to see the work of Christ completed in the life of every believer. It is the myriad of ministries within the local church that helps this to become a reality.

Today, take time to pray for all of the ministries within your church. Pray that every ministry is healthy and thriving. Ask God to send laborers, men and women who will give their time, talent and treasure, so that the lives of others may be refreshed and strengthened. Pray for the leaders of each ministry. Pray for the ministries to be full of power and for the hearts of the volunteers to be full of love for the people. Speak life and growth over each ministry within your church. Thank the Lord for birthing new ministries within your church that come alongside the other ministries to strengthen the effectiveness of the vision in teaching and training the people.

Pray:

“My Father in heaven, today, I pray for all of the ministries within my church. I thank You for them being healthy and full of people whose lives are being changed on a daily basis. May each ministry continue to grow, multiply and duplicate its effectiveness within the lives of people who come to my church. My church is full of ministries that give life and help to all who participate. We have more than enough volunteers to lead each ministry and therefore produce disciples for Christ. Each of the ministries within my church are God-ordained, Spirit-led and making an impact in the lives of people who call my church “home.” I pray for every ministry within my church, with oneness of purpose, to touch the lost, the hurting and the sons and daughters of God. In the Name of Jesus I pray, amen!”
