When You Pray: 10 New Testament Prayers for Others

Ephesians 1:17-19 [NIV] “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give _____ the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that he/she may know Him better. I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen _____ with power through His Spirit in his/her inner being, so that Christ may dwell in _____’s heart through faith. And I pray that _____, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that he/she may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Amen.”

Philippians 2:1-5 [NIV] “_____, if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself. _____, you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.”
