21 Days of Prayer – Day 10

Pastor Mark Price Blog

Isaiah 54:17 says this about God’s promise of protection, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me, says the LORD.” The Bible uses the word “servants” to describe many different people. One of those people groups protects the innocent from harm.

Today, take the time to pray for your Police Chief and the police officers in your city. Go to your city’s website to retrieve the name of the Police Chief and others who are a part of the police force. Pray for divine protection to encircle each one of them. Ask God to help them to protect the innocent and bring the guilty to justice. Pray for them to have discernment in dealing with people and the pressure situations when they are on duty. Ask God to help them do the right thing so the right thing can happen in every situation. Pray for them to have courage, bravery and steadfastness to stand and protect others in the line of fire.

Pray:

“My Father in heaven, today, I pray for the Police Chief and the police officers of my city. I pray that angels would stand guard around each one of them. May each one of them be able to see the truth of every situation that they encounter. Let them be “peace” officers, bringing peace to every emotional situation. May they protect and defend all who are in their charge. I pray that each one of them is saved and called by God to do this task, which has a great responsibility and high visibility. Remove those from service who have wrong, corruptive and ulterior motives. I pray all this in the Name of Jesus, amen!”
