21 Days of Prayer – Day 3

Pastor Mark Price Blog

Marriage is a covenant, the first relationship between man and woman after God created mankind. Marriage isn’t convenient… it requires work, love, forgiveness, laughter, stick-to-itiveness, kindness, encouragement… times 100! Marriage is from God… His idea, His gift, His way.

Today, take the time to pray for your spouse. Pray for their needs and desires. Pray for their dreams to come true and for them to be successful. Pray for their hurts and pains to be healed by the stripes on Jesus’ back. Pray that they are overcomers and more than conquerors. Pray for their thoughts to be Godly. Pray for their actions and reactions to be Christ-like. Pray for their words to be uplifting and encouraging. Pray that they will reflect Christ in all they say and do. Pray for them throughout the entire day.

“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.” – Mignon McLaughlin

“A happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers.” – Robert Quillen

Pray:

PRAY: “My Father in heaven, today, I pray for my spouse. I will love, honor and encourage my wife/husband. This day will be one of the best in their life. They will see Your hand divinely orchestrating their day and all that they do. I pray that their life is enriched by their relationships and enhanced by their accomplishments. Thank you for my wife/husband! They are a gift to me! I am blessed because I am married to her/him! Amen!”

***If you are not married, pray for your future spouse. If you do not plan on marrying, pray for your parent’s marriage or those individuals who are married that are close to you.***
