“Thank you!” for joining me in prayer for the next 21 days. Jesus said in Matthew 6:5 “When you pray…” He actually said it three different times when He was teaching about prayer in Matthew 6. Jesus expects us to pray for others, but also for ourselves.

In Matthew 7:7, Jesus said for us to “ask, seek and knock.” In other words, it’s okay to pray for yourself. You should be praying for yourself. If you are not praying for yourself, how can you be effective in your marriage, your relationships, your job and in your everyday life? If you are not healthy in your spirit, soul and body, how can you help others? It is imperative for you to pray for yourself, every day, if you want to be effective for the Kingdom of God and in every other area of your life.

As you start this “21 Days of Prayer” with me, Pastor Teresa and all of those who call Grace Christian Center home, know that we are believing for the miraculous to happen in your life. God loves you and He cares about you. Make it an everyday part of your life to pray for yourself and watch what begins to happen.

“My Father in heaven, I pray for myself today. I pray that I will be all that I was created to be. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am made in Your image and likeness. I know I was created to do great things. I can do all things through Christ who is my strength. I am healed, healthy and whole in my spirit, soul and body. I lack no good thing. Thank You for creating me and for making me the person that I am. I love You, Your Word and Your Church. I am victorious! Amen!”
